The Provincial Government of Pampanga released nearly ₱7 million in financial assistance on May 26 to support senior citizens and ailing Kapampangans.
A total of ₱2.1 million was awarded to 21 elderly residents aged 95 and above, each receiving ₱100,000. Another ₱5 million was allocated to cancer and dialysis patients, as well as those needing burial assistance.
Governor-elect Lilia “Nanay” Pineda led the distribution at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Building and pledged continued medical and welfare support for vulnerable communities. She also encouraged residents to avail of regular health checkups under the province’s medical outreach program.

Families expressed their gratitude, including overseas workers like Kimberly Mallari Manas from the U.S., who said, “Even from afar, we feel peace of mind knowing our loved ones are cared for.”
Nanay Pineda assured constituents that she and Vice Governor-elect Dennis “Delta” Pineda will visit communities to hear public concerns directly.
“I won’t stay inside the office. We’ll go around to listen to the people—but we need every Kapampangan’s cooperation,” she said.
This effort forms part of Pampanga’s broader health and social programs to uplift the lives of the sick and elderly.
