MABALACAT CITY, PAMPANGA — Authorities seized over ₱2 million worth of marijuana-based products during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bical on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
Three high-value suspects were arrested during the operation. They were identified by their aliases: “Jek-Jek” from Brgy. Bical; “Josh” from Brgy. Dau; and “Ana” from Brgy. Balibago, Angeles City.
Confiscated from the suspects were two kilograms of dried marijuana leaves valued at ₱240,000; 520 grams of kush with an estimated street value of ₱858,000; 218 marijuana-flavored vape cartridges worth ₱872,000; and 19 bottles of marijuana oil valued at ₱30,000.
The suspects are currently under the custody of the Mabalacat City Police Station as the proper filing of charges is being processed.
The operation was part of the intensified anti-illegal drug campaign of the Philippine National Police in Central Luzon.
