A total of 1,983 solo parents from Pampanga received assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Kingsborough International Convention Center.
The program was initiated by Nanay Partylist Rep. Florabel Yatco, in partnership with the Provincial Government under Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, to provide support to solo parents who serve as both providers and caregivers in their households.
Each beneficiary received:
- ₱5,000 cash assistance from the DSWD
- Charitimba or grocery pack from PCSO
- Women’s essentials from Nanay Partylist
- Lifetime pneumonia vaccine from Nanay Partylist
The initiative aims to strengthen ongoing support programs for solo parents in Pampanga.
Present during the distribution were Board Members Fritzie David Dizon, Atty. Claire Lim, Cherry Manalo, Christian Halili, Dra. Kaye Naguit, Nanay Partylist Secretary General Atty. Nicolette Henson, Consultant and former Board Member Ananias Canlas Jr., DSWD Region III Director Venus Rebuldela, PCSO Pampanga Chief Odette Soliman, and Angelina Blanco, Chief of Staff to the Vice Governor.
