It takes more than just a village to build an award-winning airport—and at Clark International Airport (CRK), it takes a family.
In a heartfelt tribute to the people behind the scenes, CRK has unveiled a new mural project celebrating its workers—the unsung heroes who keep the airport running every day. Operated by Luzon International Premier Airport Development (LIPAD), CRK’s mural honors not just LIPAD employees but also those from partner government agencies, airlines, concessionaires, ground handlers, and service providers.

Spanning three walls and nearly 94 square meters, the vibrant mural is the work of Porac Young Artists, a group known for transforming community spaces with color and imagination. Led by Jay-R Malig, the team captured the diversity, energy, and unity of the CRK family across three dynamic scenes.
The first wall captures the rhythm of airport life, with CRK’s signature architecture, waiting areas, and silhouettes of travelers and staff. The second wall focuses on the people—rendered in vivid hues to reflect the diversity of the workforce. The third wall, bathed in sunset tones, depicts silhouettes of workers and passengers moving toward the horizon—a visual metaphor for service, progress, and shared purpose.

“This mural isn’t just art—it’s a recognition of the people who make CRK a world-class airport,” said Noel Manankil, President and CEO of LIPAD. “From frontliners to those behind the scenes, each one plays a vital role. Now their story is on the walls for everyone to see.”
More than a creative statement, the mural is a testament to CRK’s core values—community, commitment, and continuous progress—brought to life in color and spirit.
