The Provincial Government of Pampanga, led by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, has distributed financial assistance to 629 Child Development Workers (CDWs) across the province as part of their four-month provincial subsidy program.

Each CDW received ₱12,000, recognizing their vital role as daycare teachers and early childhood educators in shaping the province’s young learners.

Governor Pineda personally led the distribution alongside Board Members Cherry Manalo, Christian Halili, Atty. Claire Lim, Dr. Kaye Naguit, and Dr. Benjamin Angeles.

She emphasized that the financial support aims to ease the economic challenges faced by CDWs while encouraging them to continue their dedicated service to children in their communities. The governor also reminded them to take care of their own health and well-being.

In addition to the cash subsidy, beneficiaries also received food packs from the provincial government as further assistance.

This initiative highlights the Pampanga Provincial Government’s continued commitment to improving the welfare of Child Development Workers and strengthening early childhood care and education throughout the province.
