Cebu Pacific (CEB) continues to soar in 2025, carrying 2.3 million passengers in April — an 18.3% jump from the same month last year. The airline also reported a strong seat load factor (SLF) of 83.8%, thanks to a 20.1% increase in seat availability.
Domestic travel remained the bulk of the traffic, with a 13.8% year-on-year increase and a healthy SLF of 85.7%. International flights also saw a major uptick, with a 32.2% boost in passengers and a SLF of 79.0% — up by 2.7 percentage points.

From January to April 2025, Cebu Pacific has already flown 9.2 million passengers — up by 24.2% from 7.4 million in the same period last year. Of these, 6.8 million were domestic passengers (up 24.2%) and 2.4 million were international travelers (up 24.3%). Seat capacity also grew by 23.6% to 10.9 million, with the average SLF holding steady at 84.6%.
“Passenger traffic performance remains strong with continued growth in volumes and high seat load factors,” said CEB Chief Financial Officer Mark Cezar. “International passenger numbers have increased by over 32% year-over-year, outpacing capacity expansion. These positive trends reinforce our favorable outlook for the second quarter. We’re working to optimize our capacity to meet growing travel demand despite ongoing engine and supply chain challenges.”
