Cebu Pacific recognizes Top Travel Agencies at 19th Eagle Wings Awards

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, celebrated its top-performing travel agency partners at the 19th Eagle Wings Awards held on March 11, 2025, at the Courtyard by Marriott in Iloilo City.

The Eagle Wings Awards is an annual event that honors the dedication and hard work of CEB’s travel agent partners who play a pivotal role in the airline’s success. This year, a total of 52 agencies from the Philippines, Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, and the UAE were recognized for their outstanding contributions.

“Each of you is instrumental in expanding travel opportunities, connecting people to new destinations, and enriching the experiences of countless passengers. You are the driving force behind every journey, reunion, and new chapter that begins with a flight,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific’s President and Chief Commercial Officer, during his speech at the awards ceremony.

To show appreciation for their support, Cebu Pacific hosted a social night for its travel agent partners on March 12, 2025, co-presented by the Tourism Promotions Board. The event gave attendees a chance to network, celebrate the success of the awards, and connect with fellow agents.

“None of these achievements would have been possible without your unwavering dedication. Your hard work has helped create unforgettable travel experiences for our passengers. You are not just our partners; you are an essential part of Cebu Pacific’s success story,” added Arlene Tena, CEB’s Director for Passenger Sales and Distribution.

This year’s awards were held in Iloilo City, a key hub for Cebu Pacific’s expanding operations. From Iloilo, the airline operates flights to 14 destinations, including its newly launched international routes to Hong Kong and Singapore. Cebu Pacific is also set to begin flights to Bangkok-Don Mueang from Iloilo on March 31.

In alignment with its growing presence, Cebu Pacific, in collaboration with the Tourism Promotions Board and the Department of Tourism Region VI, hosted a Business-to-Business (B2B) session with 20 local stakeholders from Iloilo. This session provided a platform for networking and exploring new business opportunities in the travel and tourism sector.

Cebu Pacific continues to operate the widest domestic network in the Philippines, with flights to 37 domestic destinations. The airline also flies to 26 international destinations, with options to depart from Manila, Cebu, Clark, Iloilo, and Davao.
