Leading Philippine broadband provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc. is accelerating its network expansion in 2026, aiming to deploy nearly one million additional fiber ports nationwide, with a focus on Visayas and Mindanao.
The company has earmarked up to ₱23 billion in capital expenditures this year—about 30% higher than last year’s ₱17.7 billion—primarily for network strengthening, expansion, and infrastructure hardening.
“We are investing heavily to expand our presence in Visayas and Mindanao while boosting our Enterprise business to meet growing demand for quality connectivity and innovative solutions,” said Converge CEO and Co-Founder Dennis Anthony Uy.
Key areas to benefit include Western Visayas and Northern Mindanao, with over 100,000 new ports in provinces such as Capiz, Samar, Bukidnon, Davao de Oro, and Sultan Kudarat.
Converge capped 2025 with nearly three million residential subscribers, a 37% port utilization rate, and a total of 9.2 million ports nationwide, covering 66% of homes passed. Demand for its FiberX, BIDA postpaid, and Surf2Sawa prepaid plans continues to drive growth.
The company has also been recognized as the Philippines’ Best Fixed Network, Fastest Fixed Network, and Best Video Experience by Ookla for the third and fourth quarters of 2025. The DICT named Converge the national broadband leader, noting its top average download and upload speeds, as well as low latency.
Converge ended 2025 with a 10.2% revenue increase to ₱44.8 billion and net income growth of 9.6% to ₱11.9 billion.
