Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda awarded a loan grant to Aling Edelyn, owner of Edelyn’s Homemade Nuts, on Monday, May 26, 2025, as part of the Capitol’s continuing support for local entrepreneurs.
Present during the awarding were Board Members Fritzie David-Dizon and Atty. Ananias Canlas Jr., Special Assistant to the Governor Angelina Blanco, and Provincial Cooperative and Entrepreneurial Development Office (PCEDO) Chief Engr. Lulu Alingcastre.

Aling Edelyn, a resident of Minalin, Pampanga, became the first recipient of the highest loan amount to date — ₱500,000 — under Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda’s loan assistance program, implemented by PCEDO in partnership with the Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
With over two decades of experience running her business, Aling Edelyn shared that the additional capital will help improve production and expand market reach for their products, which are already available in major supermarkets and grocery stores nationwide.
“This financial support is a huge help for our expansion and the purchase of raw materials. With more capital, we’ll also be able to create more jobs in Minalin,” she said.
The provincial government continues to provide support to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to help grow their businesses and generate more livelihood opportunities, especially for aspiring entrepreneurs.
According to PCEDO, a total of 41 MSMEs have already benefited from the loan program.
