Globe’s GoGIVE extends relief, restores network in earthquake-hit Cebu

Globe is enabling its Prepaid customers to extend help to earthquake-hit communities in Cebu through GoGIVE on the GlobeOne app. Until October 19, users can support the Ayala Foundation, Inc. (AFI) in providing rehabilitation and psychosocial assistance to affected families and children.

Through GoGIVE, subscribers can easily contribute by converting their mobile data into “hearts,” which can be donated to their chosen advocacy — offering a simple yet meaningful way to help.

“We are empowering our customers to show care in times of crisis,” said Yoly Crisanto, Globe’s Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer. “Together, we can help families in Cebu recover and remind them that they are not alone.”

Globe has also fully restored its network services in Daanbantayan and San Remigio, Cebu, while work continues to stabilize connectivity in Bogo City and nearby areas.
