Many women in Barangay Ungot, Tarkac City, continue to seek ways to support their families and build a sustainable livelihood. One promising initiative is the Candle-Making Training led by Analyn Pangilinan of the Mayap Ladies Organization, with trainer Kurt Cedric Dolueras and the TCLASS team.
Through this program, participants learned practical candle-making skills—an easy-to-start craft with low capital and strong business potential. Beyond learning a trade, the women also gained confidence and inspiration to start their own small enterprises within their community.
With the support of Tarlac City Mayor Susan Yap, Tarlac Governor Christian Yap, and Vice Governor Lita Aquino, the project continues to bring light and hope to the women of Tarlac City—proving that every candle lit symbolizes a new beginning and a brighter future.
