DOTr Undersecretary for Special Concern Ricky Alfonso and Assistant Secretary for ROW and Site Acquisition IC Calaguas met with Land Registration Authority (LRA) Administrator Atty. Gerardo Sirios to tackle the Right of Way for the Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP), the country’s first subway system.

So far, DOTr has secured 75% of the needed ROW, with 25% acquired in just the last six months under former Secretary Vince Dizon. Secretary Giovanni Lopez said the agency is targeting 95% completion by December 2025.
