In the Star Magic press conference today, ABS-CBN actress Maris Racal emotionally confirmed that she and singer-songwriter Rico Blanco have ended their 5-year relationship.

The actress was asked about her now ex-boyfriend during the press con, which caused her to reveal such heartbreaking news.

“Rico and I are over… um it’s fresh, um it’s been a few weeks. Lonely and empty weeks I’ve ever experienced in my life,” she said in the interview.

Maris clarified that there were no parties involved during the relationship and that the break up was mainly between him and Rico. The actress also shared that their relationship was beautiful and full of love, however, change is constant. She admitted that going through it is difficult and praises that Rico was “one of a kind”.
