The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has activated precautionary measures to safeguard transmission operations and facilities ahead of Tropical Depression Mirasol.

Preparations include securing communication systems, ensuring the availability of hardware and repair materials, and pre-positioning line crews in strategic areas to enable immediate restoration if needed.

These measures form part of NGCP’s Integrated Disaster Action Plan (IDAP), which outlines procedures to maintain the readiness and reliability of the country’s power transmission network during weather disturbances.
