PRO3 DEPLOYS 2,000 NIGHT PATROLLERS ACROSS CENTRAL LUZON

In line with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s directive and the guidance of PNP Chief PGen Rommel Francisco Marbil, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has launched intensified, intelligence-driven, and targeted patrol operations to enhance security, deter crime, and increase police visibility across critical areas in Central Luzon.

PRO3 Regional Director PBGen Jean S. Fajardo announced the deployment of over 2,000 night patrollers starting the evening of May 28. The personnel—comprising maneuver forces from provincial police offices and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion—are stationed in urban centers, provincial capitals, commercial hubs, transport terminals, and other high-foot-traffic locations.

“These heightened patrols are a direct response to the President’s call for a safer society. We’re focusing on high-risk areas and utilizing every capability to keep our communities secure. Public safety is our top priority,” said PBGen Fajardo.

The operation aims to provide security for travelers, motorists, and residents at night while preventing crime and ensuring order. PRO3 is also using updated crime mapping, time-based incident analysis, and predictive policing tools to guide and strengthen its crime prevention strategies.

PBGen Fajardo assured the public that police units remain on full alert, day and night, to safeguard lives, property, and peace across Central Luzon.
