PRO3 nabs 5 Most Wanted Persons in Central Luzon

Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) successfully arrested five municipal-level most wanted persons in separate manhunt operations across Aurora, Pampanga, and Nueva Ecija on September 24, 2025.

The arrests, carried out through intelligence-driven operations and based on warrants of arrest, underscore the effectiveness of coordinated police work among different units in the region.

In Aurora, authorities arrested three suspects:

  • John Rey Pujeda, 30, a construction worker from Baler, wanted for violation of the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 (RA 10883).
  • Albert Santos, 36, also facing charges for violation of RA 10883.
  • Xyrex Sollano, 25, a massage therapist, likewise wanted for violation of RA 10883.

In Pampanga, police operatives apprehended Carol Pabalan, 49, in Brgy. Dolores, City of San Fernando, for Qualified Sexual Assault and Acts of Lasciviousness under separate criminal cases issued by RTC Branch 76, San Mateo, Rizal.

Meanwhile, in Nueva Ecija, authorities arrested Freddie Evangelista y Dela Cruz, 51, a tricycle driver from Jaen, for violation of Section 5(B) of RA 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.

All suspects were informed of their constitutional rights and are now under the custody of their respective police stations for documentation and proper disposition.

PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. lauded the arresting units for their swift and coordinated actions.

“These successive arrests reflect our unwavering commitment to execute enhanced police operations with precision and professionalism. Guided by the leadership of Acting Chief PNP, PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., PRO3 will remain relentless in pursuing fugitives of the law, ensuring that justice is served while safeguarding the peace and security of the communities in Central Luzon,” PBGEN Peñones Jr. said.
