Philippine Airlines expands Manila–Seattle flights to Five Times Weekly by November 2025

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to enhance its transpacific service by expanding its Manila–Seattle route to five weekly flights beginning November 25, 2025—just over a year since the route’s successful launch in October 2024.

The move underscores the growing popularity of the flag carrier’s nonstop link to the U.S. Pacific Northwest, currently the only direct flight between the Philippines and Seattle. With new Tuesday and Thursday departures added to the existing schedule, PAL will operate flights every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, providing travelers with more flexibility and travel options.

“This expansion reflects the strength of our Seattle route and the broader U.S. market,” said PAL President Richard Nuttall. “Seattle is a key gateway, not only to Washington and Oregon but to multiple cities across the United States, which we serve through our strong partnership with Alaska Airlines.”

PAL’s partnership with Alaska Airlines allows passengers to seamlessly connect to domestic U.S. destinations via Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, one of the West Coast’s busiest hubs. Both airlines share a frequent flyer program that rewards loyal customers with expanded travel opportunities across their networks.

The frequency upgrade also boosts PAL’s cargo capacity, adding up to 40 tons of weekly air freight space between Manila and Seattle—facilitating stronger trade links between the two countries. PAL’s Seattle flights are operated using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, featuring 42 Business Class and 328 Economy Class seats.

The Manila-Seattle route is part of PAL’s growing U.S. and Canada network, which now includes eight destinations: New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, Vancouver, Toronto, Guam, and Seattle.

“Our aim is to support not only the tourism and commercial sectors but also Filipino-American communities who wish to reconnect with loved ones more often,” Nuttall added. “This is part of PAL’s long-term commitment to grow meaningful links between the Philippines and North America.”

New Schedule (effective November 25, 2025):
✈️ PR 124 Manila–Seattle – Departs 10:40 PM | Arrives same day at 7:35 PM (or 6:35 PM during daylight savings)
✈️ PR 125 Seattle–Manila– Departs 10:30 PM (or 9:30 PM DST) | Arrives in Manila 4:05 AM (+2 days)
