The meeting aimed to express RHR’s commitment to the DOT’s initiatives positioning the Philippines as a leading global destination.

RHR highlighted its role in supporting tourism growth through a strategic portfolio of hotels, including Go Hotels, Summit Hotels, Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, Holiday Inn Manila Galleria, and luxury properties like Fili Urban Resort Cebu. The company is especially focused on attracting high-value travelers from emerging markets like India.

She also emphasized improvements in tourism infrastructure, such as the Philippine e-Visa system for Indian nationals and upcoming direct flights from India to Manila by 2025, all aimed at enhancing travel convenience for international visitors.

Barun Jolly, RHR’s Senior Vice President, expressed eagerness to collaborate with the DOT in showcasing the country’s charm and hospitality, aligning RHR’s offerings with the DOT’s goals for competitive tourist accommodations.

Joining Jolly in the visit were RHR Vice President Annalyn Yap and General Manager Jose Marie Delgado Ouano III. Secretary Frasco was accompanied by key DOT officials, underscoring the importance of collaboration in advancing the Philippines’ tourism sector.
