The United Central Luzon Athletic Association (UCLAA), led by Founder and Chairman Gil Cortez, congratulated Mr. Paul Tristan Laus on his election as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), the country’s official governing body for basketball recognized by FIBA, the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), and the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC).

Laus will represent the North Luzon Geographical Sector and join the 17-member SBP Board of Trustees, which includes prominent leaders and patrons of Philippine basketball such as SBP Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan, SBP President Ricky Vargas, PBA Governor Alfrancis Chua, and former PBA Commissioner and SBP Executive Director Renauld Barrios, among others.

A long-time supporter of the UCLAA, Mr. Laus and the Laus Group of Companies have consistently contributed to the league’s growth and success. Now on its 10th season, UCLAA continues to reach new heights through the unwavering support of its partners and patrons.

As a member league of the SBP, UCLAA also extended its congratulations to the newly elected SBP officials and reaffirmed its commitment to advancing basketball development and instilling positive values through sports.
