3 MOST WANTED INDIVIDUALS NABBED IN BATAAN AND ZAMBALES POLICE OPS

In line with the directive of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and the marching orders of PNP Chief PGen Rommel Francisco Marbil to strengthen efforts toward safer and more progressive communities, police operatives successfully apprehended three Top Most Wanted Persons in separate operations across Bataan and Zambales.

First Arrest in Bataan
On May 29, 2025, at around 8:40 a.m., authorities arrested John Allen Maras y Rosanto, 18, a student and resident of Brgy. Capitangan, Abucay, Bataan. Maras, listed as the Rank No. 2 Most Wanted Person at the provincial level, was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Francis Avelyn B. Gallega-Vargas of RTC Branch 3, Balanga City. He faces charges for violations of Sections 13 and 14, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Second Arrest in Zambales
The following day, May 30, 2025, at about 8:00 a.m., police from the Botolan Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested a 17-year-old student known as alias “Tom”, a resident of Brgy. San Juan, Botolan, Zambales. The suspect, tagged as the Top 4 Most Wanted Person (Provincial Level), was apprehended in Brgy. Batonlapoc, Botolan, based on a Warrant of Arrest for Rape (Criminal Case No. CICL-17185-2025-I), issued by Hon. Maribel F. Mariano-Beltran of Family Court Branch 13, Iba, Zambales. Bail was set at ₱120,000.00. Being a minor, he was placed under the custody of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Botolan.

Third Arrest in Pilar, Bataan
Later that same day, at around 10:00 a.m., Johnny Gonzales y Solomon, 44, was arrested in Brgy. Panilao, Pilar, Bataan. Gonzales, ranked as the Top 7 Most Wanted Person (Provincial Level), was wanted for Lascivious Conduct under Section 5(B) of RA 7610, as amended by RA 11648. His arrest was based on a Warrant issued by Hon. Jenny Vi Trinidad-Layco of RTC Branch 3, Mariveles, Bataan, dated December 23, 2022, with bail set at ₱200,000.00. The operation was jointly conducted by Pilar MPS, Regional Intelligence Unit 3 (RIU3), PIT Bataan, and the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company.

PRO3 Chief Commends Swift Operations
Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Regional Director PBGen Jean S. Fajardo, who commended the operating teams for their swift and effective action, said “Continue to serve with integrity, fairness, and dedication. Your efforts reflect our shared commitment to preserving peace and order in our communities.”

The consecutive arrests of these high-profile suspects demonstrate the Philippine National Police’s unwavering commitment to law enforcement and to ensuring the safety of every resident in Central Luzon.
