A total of 41 residents from the provinces of Aurora, Tarlac, and Zambales were granted land titles by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) during its Serbisyo Fair in celebration of Philippine Environment Month.
The beneficiaries received agricultural and residential free patents covering a combined land area of 191,000 hectares—providing them with legal ownership and new opportunities for sustainable land development.

DENR Regional Executive Director Ralph Pablo emphasized the importance of secure land tenure in driving personal, economic, and environmental progress.
“By granting legal recognition to individuals and families, we are not only securing their rightful ownership but also empowering them to cultivate their land with confidence,” Pablo said. “Stable land tenure serves as a foundation for responsible development, opening doors to economic opportunities and promoting environmental sustainability for future generations.”
The Serbisyo Fair was simultaneously conducted across all seven provinces in Central Luzon through the DENR’s provincial and community offices. It forms part of the agency’s ongoing effort to make its services more accessible and promote active public involvement in land administration and environmental protection.
Among the highlights of the fair was the “Handog Titulo” door-to-door program, which brought land titles directly to senior citizen recipients—symbolizing DENR’s commitment to inclusive and grassroots service delivery.
