Authorities intercepted approximately ₱119 million worth of suspected shabu concealed inside crystal resin countertops during an operation led by the Bureau of Customs – Port of Clark in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Clark Inter-Agency Task Force Against Illegal Drugs.
The operation resulted in the seizure of about 17,500 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu, which authorities estimate to have a street value of ₱119 million.

The illegal drugs were discovered hidden inside crystal resin countertops, a method believed to have been used to conceal the contraband and evade detection during shipment.
The interception forms part of the intensified campaign of government agencies to prevent the entry of illegal drugs into the country, in line with the directive of Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to strengthen border protection and enhance anti-drug operations.
Authorities said the successful operation highlights the continued collaboration among customs, anti-drug, and law enforcement agencies in securing the country’s ports and protecting communities from illegal narcotics.
Further investigation is ongoing to identify those responsible for the shipment and to determine possible links to illegal drug networks.
