ACMobility Honda’s ACRE Movement hits 15,000 Trees

ACMobility, the country’s largest dealer network for Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI), has planted its 15,000th tree under the AC Mobility Advancing Community, Reforestation, and Environmental Responsibility (ACRE) Movement at the Carbon Forest Site in Kan-Irag Nature Park, Cebu City.

Launched in 2022, the ACRE Movement commits to planting one tree for every car sold. Initially aiming for 10,000 trees in two years, the program has now surpassed its target with 15,000 native Philippine trees—including Narra, Tuai, Toog, Kamagong, Lagnob, Almaciga, and Kalingag—thriving across its reforestation sites.

The milestone coincided with Honda Cars Cebu’s 33rd anniversary, gathering Honda executives, employees, customers, and new car buyers. A Honda BR-V owner from the Mandaue dealership was recognized as the symbolic 15,000th tree contributor.

“We want to make sure that we don’t just plant trees—we also nurture them. This is our commitment to ensure that future generations inherit a greener and healthier environment,” said Steve Gingco, Head of Auto Care and Retail.

Beyond tree planting, the ACRE Movement supports carbon offsetting, watershed protection, and biodiversity restoration, strengthening ACMobility’s vision of sustainable and responsible mobility.

A subsidiary of the Ayala Group, ACMobility operates the country’s largest Honda and Isuzu dealer networks, distributes Kia, Volkswagen, and BYD passenger cars, and leads in EV charging station development nationwide.

With every Honda vehicle purchased, customers contribute to building a greener future—driving with purpose, not just innovation.
