The Angeles City Government, led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., provided manpower support to the Department of Transportation (DOTr) during clearing operations on March 28, 2025, in front of SM City Clark and along Philippine National Railways (PNR) property, where part of the North-South Railway Project will be constructed.

DOTr Assistant Secretary Irish “IC” Calaguas, on behalf of Secretary Vince Dizon, expressed gratitude to Mayor Lazatin and city officials for their assistance.

Previously, Sec. Dizon sought the city’s help in expediting the resolution of right-of-way concerns affecting the Clark-Angeles-Calumpit railway project.

Joining the clearing operations were personnel from various city offices, including the City Engineer’s Office (Helen Ayro), City Environment and Natural Resources Office (Jenifer Castro), Angeles City Traffic Development Office (Francis Pangilinan), Public Transportation and Regulatory Office (Ferdinand Calma), and Angeles City Human Settlement and Urban Development Office (Deputy Rowel Nava).

Angeles City Information Office
