The Confucius Institute at Angeles University Foundation (CI-AUF) celebrated its 15th Founding Anniversary with the theme, “One Heart, One Vision, Toward a Blossoming Shared Future.” The milestone event was led by AUF President and CI-AUF Chairman, Dr. Joseph Emmanuel L. Angeles.
Distinguished guests included Former President and Pampanga 2nd District Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal Arroyo; FFCCCII President Victor Lim; DepEd Assistant Secretary Dr. Jocelyn Andaya; DepEd–BCD Director Dr. Ebenezer Beloy; Fujian Normal University Vice President Prof. Ouyang Songying; and Chinese Education Counsellor Xiong Sheng.




The celebration brought together partners from Fujian Normal University, school principals implementing SPFL–Chinese Mandarin, FFCCCII, Chiang Kai Shek College, the Philippine Chinese Education Research Center, the Jinjiang Association of the Philippines, Confucius Institutes across the Philippines and Southeast Asia, and student organizations like CSSAP. Key media and corporate partners such as China News Service, Xinhua, People’s Daily Online, Chinoy TV, Huawei, DITO Telecommunity, and Xiaomi Philippines were also in attendance.
Highlighting the anniversary, CI-AUF hosted the 12th National Conference on Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language in the Philippines, featuring speakers from Confucius Institutes across Southeast Asia to strengthen collaboration and advance Chinese language education nationwide.
This year’s celebration reaffirmed CI-AUF’s commitment to fostering cultural exchange, education, and long-lasting partnerships in the Philippines and the region.
