Nearly a thousand residents of Arayat received free medical services as the ‘Alagang Nanay’ Preventive Healthcare Program of the Provincial Government of Pampanga made its latest stop in the municipality.
Among the beneficiaries was Aling Marichu Paguinto, who expressed heartfelt gratitude after receiving a free consultation and medicine for her goiter. “I-rate ko po si Nanay ng 100 over 10! Maraming salamat po!” she said, sharing how the program spared her the burden of paying for long-needed medication.
Arriving early to secure her spot in line, Aling Marichu joined 970 fellow Arayateños in availing of various medical and social services, including:

Governor Lilia ‘Nanay’ Pineda personally led the visit, accompanied by the Provincial Health Office (PHO) team headed by Dr. Dax Tidula, to ensure every service was delivered efficiently, compassionately, and with genuine care.
The governor emphasized that Alagang Nanay is not just about providing medicine, but also about showing compassion, understanding, and sincere care for every Kapampangan.
“In Pampanga, the health of our people will always be at the heart of our governance,” Gov. Pineda said.
