Allianz Group named World’s Top Insurance and Asset Management Brand

The Allianz Group has retained its position as the world’s leading Insurance and Asset Management brand, while climbing higher in the global ranking of the most valuable brands, according to the 2026 Brand Finance Global 500 report.

The latest report, released by international brand valuation experts, placed the German-based company as the number one brand in the Insurance and Asset Management sector, outperforming its closest competitors.

Allianz also ranked 21st among the world’s most valuable brands, moving up four spots from 25th place in 2025. The company ranked ahead of major global corporations including American Express, Shell, and Disney.

The strong performance was driven by significant year-on-year growth, with Allianz posting a 22-percent increase in brand value to reach US$60 billion. The company’s growing presence in key strategic and emerging markets also contributed to its higher valuation.

The recognition follows a series of accolades received by the company over the past year, including being named the most valuable insurance brand in the 2025 Interbrand Global Brands Ranking.

Joe Gross, President and Chief Executive Officer of Allianz PNB Life, said the recognition highlights the group’s strong global performance, particularly in 2025, citing growth in business volume, profitability, and customer trust.

He added that the company’s brand strategy focuses on a people-centered approach built on trust, competence, and meaningful human connections, while also contributing to social development worldwide.

In the Philippines, Allianz continues to strengthen its presence through its joint venture with the Philippine National Bank, Allianz PNB Life Inc., which operates more than 22 business centers in key cities nationwide.

As Allianz PNB Life marks its 10th anniversary this year, the company plans to further highlight its global Olympics partnership and strengthen local collaborations, including initiatives with brand ambassador Alyssa Valdez and Rebisco Volleyball. The company also aims to continue supporting grassroots volleyball development and promote sports as a tool for physical and mental wellness among Filipinos.

Moving forward, the Allianz Group remains confident in sustaining its global leadership in insurance and asset management, while Allianz PNB Life is poised to expand further in the Philippines after meeting its business targets in 2025.
