The Angeles City local government, led by Mayor Carmelo “Jon” B. Lazatin II, through the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ACDRRMO), convened a meeting with the Department of Education (DepEd) Angeles, Angeles City Public Schools Teachers Association (ACPUSTA), Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), student leaders, and representatives from private schools, the City Health Office (CHO), and City Information Office (CIO).
The meeting focused on preparations for the upcoming summer season and its potential impacts on the health and safety of students and teachers.






Mayor Lazatin emphasized the need for comprehensive policies and guidelines to inform teachers, students, and parents about measures to be taken during the dry season.
The city plans to roll out directives covering class adjustments and health protocols, including guidelines for handling heat-related concerns, ensuring the welfare of the school community during summer months.
