The Department of the Interior and Local Government-Central Luzon has extended its congratulations and support to the Local Government Unit of Angeles City for being named a national finalist in the Presidential Award for Child-Friendly Municipalities and Cities (PACFMC).

As part of the validation process, a team composed of representatives from the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC), the PACFMC National Award Committee (NAC), and the Regional Committee/Sub-Committee for the Welfare of Children (RSCWC) will conduct onsite inspections in five randomly selected barangays on September 8–12, 2025.

The PACFMC, an annual program of the CWC, recognizes outstanding LGUs that exemplify inclusive and sustainable child-friendly governance while upholding the welfare, rights, and development of children.
