Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. on December 5, 2023 received a resolution of commendation from the Angeles City Council after the city government was hailed as 2023 SubayBAYANI top overall performer.
Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting handed over the said resolution of commendation to Mayor Lazatin.
The SubayBAYANI Award is granted to recognize the excellent and consistent performance of a Local Government Unit and DILG Focal Persons for the enrolled locally-funded projects and infrastructe programs under the SubayBAYAN platform.
Also present were City Councilors Atty. Arvin Suller, Jesus Sangil, Dr. Alfie Bonifacio, Raco Del Rosario, Edu Pamintuan, Alexander Indiongco, Danilo Lacson, Cris Cortez, JC Aguas, and Marino Bañola, Association of Barangay Captain President Jeremias Alejandrino, and Sangguniang Kabataan President Richard Gaza.
