The Angeles City Government has taken another step toward strengthening its environmental programs following the turnover of composting technology packages from the Bureau of Soils and Water Management of the Department of Agriculture.
Leading the turnover ceremony was Mayor Carmelo ‘Jon’ Lazatin II, who received three units of composting technology packages aimed at improving the city’s management of biodegradable waste.

Lazatin emphasized that the technology will help the city properly process organic waste while promoting sustainable environmental practices. He added that the initiative will reduce waste while converting biodegradable materials into useful compost that can benefit the community.
The program forms part of the city government’s broader efforts to strengthen solid waste management and promote environmentally responsible practices.
Supporting the initiative were Angeles City Agriculture Officer Rea Dizon and Ron Pineda, chairperson of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on Agriculture, who joined the city government in advancing sustainable waste solutions for Angeles City.
