Angeles City has ramped up its dengue prevention and control efforts with the turnover of three Ultralow Volume (ULV) misting machines from the Pampanga Provincial Health Office. The support, facilitated by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda through the city’s Environmental Health Services, was led by Joey Pring, Team Lead of the Angeles City Anti-Dengue Task Force, under the supervision of Dr. Jessie Paul Culang, OIC–Sanitation, and the guidance of Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II.
The additional ULV misting machines will enhance the city’s ability to respond quickly and effectively to dengue outbreaks, allowing health teams to reach more barangays and implement timely mosquito control operations, especially in high-risk areas.
The Angeles City Government continues to emphasize the critical role of the community in dengue prevention. Residents are encouraged to maintain clean surroundings, eliminate mosquito breeding sites, and cooperate with health personnel during prevention and response activities. Through partnerships and collective action, Angeles City aims to safeguard public health and ensure safer, healthier communities for all Angeleños.
