Angeles City has been recognized by the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) Region III for its outstanding revenue performance in Fiscal Year 2024, receiving multiple Plaques of Achievement on December 2, 2025.
The city ranked 1st in Highest Locally Sourced Revenues, totaling ₱1.856 billion among all cities in Central Luzon; 2nd in the ratio of Locally Sourced Revenues to Total Current Operating Income, highlighting strong financial sustainability; and 2nd in Year-on-Year Growth Rate of Locally Sourced Revenues for FYs 2023–2024, demonstrating consistent improvement.



Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II congratulated the City Treasurer’s Office and all city employees, emphasizing that these accomplishments reflect the collective effort of the Angeleño community toward efficient governance and improved public service.
The BLGF citations underscore Angeles City’s commitment to fiscal responsibility, transparency, and sustainable development, reinforcing its role as a model for local governance in Central Luzon.
