The Angeles City Government, led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., has lined up a series of exciting and meaningful events to celebrate the 32nd Fiestang Kuliat in October.

Among the highlights of the 32nd Fiestang Kuliat, whose theme is “Faith, Feast, Festivity”, are Kuliat Kambal Festival, scheduled on October 12, prior to the La Naval Fiesta, which is held every second Sunday of October.

Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, who heads the preparations for Fiestang Kuliat with Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, said that the Kambal Festival will be participated in by twins from the city’s 33 barangays, and that a grand prize of P300,000 awaits the winner.

Mutya ning Angeles 2024 is set on November 28. The grand winner will receive a total of ₱2 million in prizes: ₱1.5 million cash from the city government and ₱500,000 from Beautéderm Corp. (₱150,000 cash and ₱350,000 worth of Beautéderm products and BeautéHaus services).

The media presentation for the candidates will be on September 30, 2024 while the Local Costume Parade of the candidates will be held on October 5 at SM City Clark.

Apart from the grandest Kambal Festival and the prestigious pageant, there will be significant religious celebrations such as the Mass at the Holy Rosary Parish Church for the Feast of the Holy Guardian Angel on October 2; Feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of La Naval at HRP Church on October 13; and Fiestang Apung Mamacalulu Mass at Apu Shrine on October 25.

To promote and boost the city’s tourism and local business, there will also be a Visual Art Exhibit called “Nuan” featuring local artists’ works from September 23 to October 3 at Marquee Mall; Calesin Tilbury Race at Jake Angeles Boulevard on October 13; a Trade Fair at Plaza Anghel on October 15 to 24, displaying the One Town One Product store of the city managed by the Angeles City Economic Development Investment Promotions Office supervised by Manuel.

In addition, Tigtigan Terakan King Dalan (TTKD) is set on October 25 and 26.
