Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel on July 30, 2024 had a meeting with some department heads about the high demand of anti-rabies vaccination for humans.
Present during the meeting are City Veterinary Officer Dr. Christian Xyric Arcilla, City Health Officer Dr. Verona Guevarra, Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Rudy Simeon, and General Services Officer Evangeline Malonzo.
According to Calaguas, Mayor Lazatin will adopt a proactive approach and instructed members of the City Veterinary Office to conduct house-to-house anti-rabies vaccination for pets which will start this coming August 5.
Mayor Lazatin also urged pet owners to practice responsible pet ownership.
The schedule of free anti-rabies vaccination for pets will be posted at the Angeles City Information Office Facebook page.
