A NEW BEGINNING FOR BALAY SILANGAN GRADUATES

Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, formally recognized the graduates of the Balay Silangan Reformation Center during the 2025 Commencement Exercises held on December 16, 2025. The event is a celebration of a meaningful milestone in their journey toward personal growth and transformation.

Graduation from the reformation center symbolizes courage, resilience, and a renewed commitment to positive change. For the graduates, the ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter—one filled with opportunities to reintegrate into society, rebuild relationships, and pursue meaningful goals guided by the lessons they have learned.

The City Government of Angeles commended each graduate for their dedication to self-improvement and self-reflection, recognizing not only their achievements but also the strong support systems that continue to play a vital role in successful reintegration.

The city also acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the program’s partners and resource persons who attended the ceremony, including CSWDO’s John Mark Manalang, RSW; PS3 PMaj Alfred R. Andal; PCPT Edilberto V. Geminiano; and PDEA IA3 Merlita Jasmine Perrera. Their presence highlighted the collaborative efforts behind the city’s rehabilitation and recovery initiatives.

Through programs such as Balay Silangan, the Angeles City government continues to strengthen its commitment to building a safer, drug-free community while empowering every Angeleño to move forward toward productive and dignified living.
