BBJVI Chairman and CEO Jopet Inton recently met with Brian James J. Lu, Executive Director and Membership Committee Chairman of the Association for Philippines-China Understanding Inc. (APCU), to explore potential port investment opportunities aimed at advancing infrastructure development and creating avenues for sustained economic growth.

The meeting placed emphasis on how strategic partnerships can open new opportunities, particularly in strengthening trade and generating jobs that will benefit local communities.
Inton said BBJVI is open to collaboration with international organizations to expand its reach while ensuring long-term gains for the country.

APCU, through the leadership of Lu, has long been recognized for its role in fostering people-to-people diplomacy and reinforcing bilateral ties between the Philippines and China.
The organization has spearheaded programs on cultural and academic exchanges, local government sisterhood agreements, and initiatives that enhance trade cooperation. Among its notable undertakings is the Award for Promoting Philippines-China Understanding, which honors Filipinos who have contributed significantly to nurturing mutual relations.
For BBJVI, the dialogue with APCU reflects a broader vision of bridging infrastructure development with diplomacy and cultural exchange. By strengthening ties with partners like APCU, BBJVI positions itself not only as a driver of regional growth but also as a catalyst in building stronger international partnerships that support inclusive progress.
