BCDA extends relief to 1,000 typhoon-hit families in Pampanga

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) continued its humanitarian efforts in Pampanga, distributing sacks of rice and other food supplies to 1,000 families affected by recent typhoons in the municipalities of Macabebe and Masantol.

Relief operations were held in Brgy. Malauli, Masantol, and Brgy. San Roque, Macabebe, led by Masantol Mayor Danilo Guintu, BCDA Executive Vice President Atty. Gisela Kalalo, and Brgy. Captain Rodel Cunanan. They were joined by Pampanga Board Member Dr. Kaye Naguit, BCDA Vice President Leilani Macasaet, and representatives from the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) and the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).

The BCDA reaffirmed its commitment to supporting disaster-hit communities and aiding local government units in recovery and rehabilitation efforts.
