BOC – Port of Clark joins CICAC’s 1st Anniversary

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Clark recently participated in the 3rd General Assembly and 1st Founding Anniversary of the Customs Industry Consultative and Advisory Council (CICAC). The event highlighted the BOC’s ongoing commitment to fostering stronger partnerships with industry stakeholders to enhance trade processes and customs operations.

Led by Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio and Internal Administration Group Director John M. Simon, BOC executives took the opportunity to directly address client concerns, ensuring prompt resolutions and reinforcing the Bureau’s drive to improve service efficiency. The discussions focused on key areas such as trade facilitation and procedural advancements, which are central to the BOC’s modernization efforts.

For the Port of Clark, District Collector Jairus Reyes expressed his deep appreciation to the local CICAC partners, emphasizing, “Our strong collaboration with industry stakeholders allows us to continuously enhance customs processes, ensuring smooth trade operations and efficient cargo movement.”

The BOC – Port of Clark acknowledges the valuable support of its local CICAC partners, which include Clark Development Corporation (CDC), Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corporation (LIPAD), Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC), Federal Express, United Parcel Service, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Clark Investors & Locators Association (CILA), Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) – Northern Central Luzon, ASPAC International Inc., and Fasqual Cargo Inc.

In alignment with the vision of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., the Bureau remains steadfast in advancing trade facilitation, driving economic growth, and ensuring a more efficient and transparent customs service across the nation.
