District Collector Jairus S. Reyes commended the personnel of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Clark during the flag-raising ceremony for their successful implementation of the Bureau’s priority programs.
Reyes highlighted the Port’s effective hosting of the National Collectors’ Conference, which gathered BOC executives including Customs Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno to present district updates and tackle nationwide customs issues.

Reechoing the Commissioner’s directives, Reyes urged personnel to deliver efficient and courteous service, uphold integrity in baggage clearance, and ensure lawful revenue collection in line with existing policies. He stressed that professionalism and courtesy are key to building public trust.
Certificates of commendation were also awarded to employees for exceeding revenue targets and strengthening border protection through examiner profiling and the effective use of X-ray scanning to intercept illegal drugs. The recognition forms part of the Bureau’s thrust to uplift employee morale and promote a culture of appreciation in the workplace.
