As part of its culminating activity for the 2025 National Women’s Month Celebration, the Bureau of Customs – Port of Clark took the opportunity to recognize and commend its employees for their outstanding contributions to the Bureau’s core mandates: border protection, revenue collection, and trade facilitation.
This recognition not only highlights the Port’s dedication to employee welfare but also emphasizes the vital role of women in advancing the Customs service. The event celebrated the achievements of female personnel, who have been integral in meeting the Port’s goals and ensuring its continued success.

Carrying the theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” this year’s celebration reflected a call for inclusive progress and the active participation of women in nation-building. The theme resonated with the Bureau’s efforts to empower women across all sectors, including Customs.
District Collector Jairus Reyes expressed his gratitude, stating, “Our empowered women are not only pillars of strength in the workplace—they are key drivers of transformation. Their dedication and excellence bring us closer to a Customs administration that operates with integrity and purpose.”
Through this event, the Port of Clark reaffirmed its commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment, where both men and women are recognized for their contributions in shaping a better future for the nation.
