Earl Anjelo Yabut, the Gem Hunter himself, led the opening of Cabeza’s SM City Fairview branch last September 22.

CABEZA has gems and crystals for career and personal growth, business, self-healing, and more.

Earl’s attraction to the natural healing abilities of precious gems and crystals began in 2020. According to him, “Gems and crystals emit pleasant, elevating, energetic, and calming vibrations that aid in improving a more peaceful mind and a refreshed physical state of being.”

A former flight attendant, Earl’s travels around the world made it possible for him to hand-pick rare gems and crystals from the US, Australia, Japan, Brazil, Madagascar and Afghanistan. These gems and crystals served as his ‘visa’ as he transitioned from being a flight attendant to being a Cabeza store owner by joining SM Supermalls’ Start-Up Market, and eventually opening his first official store at SM City Clark in August 2022.

And there was no stopping him. Within a little over a year, Cabeza continued its partnership with SM, and opened stores one after the other in the following branches, all in 2023: SM City Pampanga in February; SM City Telabastagan in March; SM City Bataan (in time for the mall’s grand opening) in May; and now, SM City Fairview in September.

The store at SM City Fairview is Cabeza’s fifth outlet, and it is the very first in Metro Manila.
