Over 130 Business Permits and Licensing Officers (BPLOs) from across Central Luzon are set to gather on June 2–4 in Tagaytay City for the 2025 Central Luzon Regional Convention. Organized by the Central Luzon Association of Business Permit and Licensing Officers, Inc. (CLAB), the event fosters collaboration, policy alignment, and knowledge sharing to enhance business registration and investment services in the region.

Now on its ninth year, the annual convention highlights the implementation of the Ease of Doing Business Act (RA 11032) through unified LGU practices and stronger partnerships with national agencies. As many BPLOs also serve as Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Officers (LEDIPOs), the event supports broader strategies to align local efforts with regional and national economic goals.
Backed by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-3) and Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG-3), CLAB continues to build the capacity of local officers and bridge coordination between LGUs and national agencies. Newly elected CLAB officers, led by President Rosemarie B. Reyes of Nueva Ecija, aim to further strengthen BPLO networks across Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales, and Olongapo City.
As a key partner of the Central Luzon Growth Corridor Foundation, Inc. (CLGCFI) and member of the National Association of BPLOs (NABPLO), CLAB reaffirms its commitment to building more business-friendly and competitive LGUs in Region III.
