The Department of Tourism – Region 3, in partnership with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority – Tourism Department, formally launched the Central Luzon Sustainable Tourism Summit 2025 through a media event at Moonbay Marina The Villas, Subic Bay.
Set on September 10–12, 2025 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center, the summit will carry the theme “Building Green Legacies: Sustaining Nature, Celebrating Culture, and Empowering Industry.”
The three-day gathering will convene LGUs, MSMEs, the academe, and sustainability advocates for plenary discussions, learning tracks, and workshops on sustainable tourism practices.
It will also feature post-summit eco-tours highlighting reforestation, farm-to-table dining, mangrove conservation, indigenous trails, and heritage experiences.
A key highlight is the inaugural Sustainable Tourism Appreciation and Recognition (S.T.A.R.) Awards, which will honor exceptional contributions in sustainability, innovation, and community empowerment.
Through this summit, Central Luzon reaffirms its commitment to a tourism industry that protects the environment, uplifts communities, and preserves culture for future generations.
