CFO to open Clark Airport office for Central, North Luzon migrants

The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) is set to open a new satellite office at the Clark International Airport (CRK) to make its frontline services more accessible to permanent and long-term Filipino migrants in Central and Northern Luzon.

CFO Chairperson Dante Ang II said the Clark office will serve as a one-stop assistance hub for Filipinos who are migrating abroad or returning home.

“Maglalagay po kami ng tao sa Clark Airport para ‘yung mga nangangailangan ng frontline services ay ma-assist namin at hindi na nila kailangan pang pumunta ng Manila,” he said.

The upcoming satellite office will offer key services such as pre-departure orientation, guidance and counseling, documentation, and various migrant support services. It will serve clients from Pampanga, Tarlac, Bulacan, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Zambales, and the Ilocos Region.

This initiative forms part of CFO’s partnership with the Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corporation, operator of CRK, aimed at strengthening migrant assistance in major travel hubs and ensuring a more convenient experience for outbound and returning Filipinos.

Ang emphasized that the expansion underscores the agency’s commitment to bring government services closer to communities and promote safe, informed, and well-prepared migration.

“Ang layunin po namin ay mapadali at mapalapit ang serbisyo ng CFO para sa ating mga kababayang lumalabas ng bansa o bumabalik mula sa kanilang paninirahan abroad,” he added.

Once operational, the Clark satellite office will complement CFO’s Central Office in Manila as well as its digital platforms that continue to provide information and assistance to overseas Filipinos and their families.

Ang also reaffirmed that the initiative supports the broader government effort to keep Filipinos overseas connected to the Philippines.

“Habang sila ay nasa ibang bansa, gusto po nating manatiling konektado sila sa Pilipinas economically, culturally, and emotionally,” he said.
