The Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) actively participated in the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), reinforcing the importance of disaster preparedness and emergency response.
The nationwide drill, led by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, aims to strengthen awareness and readiness for earthquakes across government agencies and institutions.

During the exercise, CIAC employees practiced the standard “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, emphasizing the importance of quick and coordinated action during seismic events.
Officials said the activity goes beyond a routine drill, highlighting the critical role of preparedness in saving lives during emergencies.
Through its participation in the nationwide initiative, CIAC continues to promote a culture of safety and resilience, ensuring that its workforce is equipped with the knowledge and awareness needed to respond effectively when earthquakes occur.
