Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. on June 4, 2024 awards certificates of commendation to four Pampang Public Market Guards and three members of Angeles City Police Office Station 2 for being allies of the city government in its anti-drug efforts.

Market guards Federico Mamucud, Arnold Castro, Roberto Casero, and Danilo Naguit, and PLt. Genaro Ardiente, PCpl. Eugine Jaime, and Radio Operator Manuelo Devera apprehended some individuals who allegedly sell shabu in the sari-sari section of the public market.

Mayor Lazatin also handed over cash incentives to the market guards and PNP personnel for their prompt action to apprehend the alleged illegal drug offenders.
