Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. continues his personal brand of public service, visiting elderly residents in Mabalacat City on July 11, 2025 to personally deliver assistance and check on their well-being.
Lazatin, out of his own pocket, provided P2,000 cash aid, Vitamin C supplements, five kilos of rice, and free medical check-ups to bedridden seniors aged 90 to 99.

“Magpasalamat ku pung tutu, hanggang mabye kami pu, tanawan mi ya pung utang a lub i binye nang saup,” said Leonida Nalo, wife of beneficiary Armando Nalo.
The Congressman is set to visit a total of 50 elderly residents in Mabalacat as part of his ongoing commitment to personally reach out to his constituents. Earlier this month, he also visited 11 elderly in Magalang, following a similar outreach in March that assisted nearly 570 senior citizens across the two LGUs.
Families expressed heartfelt gratitude for the visits and the much-needed support.
“Thank you pu Cong at mipasyal kayu pu keng Mabalacat. Thank you pu keng binye yung cash assistance ampong panulu pu, ampo pu itang wheelchair,” said Sheryl Angeles, daughter of senior citizen Salvador Duque Jr.
As a former Mayor of Angeles City, Lazatin was known for his door-to-door delivery of services—an approach he vows to continue as District Representative.
“Ako po ay magbabahay-bahay dahil gusto ko pong malaman ang bawat pulso, bawat kailangan, at bawat hinaing ng aking mga kababayan,” Lazatin said. “Excited po akong palawakin ang serbisyong ito sa buong Unang Distrito ng Pampanga.”
