Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. personally led the distribution of relief goods from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to families affected by the onslaught of Typhoon Uwan in Angeles City, Mabalacat City, and Magalang on November 9, 2025.
Lazatin was joined by his Chief Adviser and DOTr Assistant Secretary IC Calaguas, Chief Political Affairs Officer Reina Manuel, and long-time aides Mina Cabiles, Irish Bonus-Llego, and Michael Lising in ensuring that aid reached the affected communities.
In Angeles City, the team distributed food packs and other relief assistance to residents of Barangay Tabun, Amsic, Balibago, and Sto. Domingo.

In Mabalacat City, the relief operations extended to Barangay Bundagul, Sapang Balen, and Sapang Biabas, areas that experienced heavy rainfall and flooding brought by the typhoon.

Meanwhile, in Magalang, Lazatin’s group visited Barangay San Roque, where they were joined by Barangay Captain June Marimla, and Barangay San Agustin, where Mayor Malu Lacson, Councilor June Tanglao, and Barangay Captain Allan Pineda helped in the distribution.

Lazatin expressed his gratitude to the DSWD and all local officials for their continued cooperation in bringing assistance to affected Kapampangans.
“This is a time for solidarity and compassion. We will continue working hand in hand with the DSWD, our local leaders, and volunteers to make sure no family in the First District is left behind,” Lazatin said.
