Angeles City Mayor and Pampanga First District Representative candidate, Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., commenced his visit to senior citizens in Pampanga’s first district today, starting with 26 senior citizens in Barangay San Isidro, Magalang.
Con Pogi is also scheduled to visit senior citizens in Mabalacat City and other parts of Magalang, where he will personally deliver aid including Vitamin C, five kilos of rice, groceries, P1,000 in financial assistance, and free blood work through a mobile clinic.
Having served as mayor of Angeles City, Lazatin is no stranger to reaching out to seniors, having conducted annual house-to-house visits to residents aged 90 to 99 since 2019.
“Gusto ko pong malaman ang bawat pulso, bawat kailangan, at bawat hinaing ng aking mga kababayan sa Unang Distrito ng Pampanga,” said Lazatin. “I am excited to bring this level of service to Mabalacat and Magalang.”

Lazatin, who declared his candidacy in June 2024, promises to bring the same hands-on, community-focused service he has provided in Angeles City to his district.
Last September, Lazatin personally donated school supplies to 3,063 daycare students in Mabalacat and 1,777 in Magalang, alongside five kilos of rice for their parents.
In July 2024, Lazatin also supported the nationwide Brigada Eskwela initiative, donating materials to 60 schools in Mabalacat and 27 in Magalang.
Lazatin’s active involvement in community service highlights his commitment to improving the lives of Pampanga’s residents, particularly the most vulnerable.
